Lifetime Pickleball, Badminton, & Quickstart Tennis Net Set Reviews
This is a well designed, easy to break down and store game set. It's definitely geared more towards families and young kids moreso than older teens or hardcore gamers. I say this because pickleball and "quickstart tennis" won't keep older kids occupied for too long. Badminton might: the net can be set to the correct height of 61" for badminton, but you should probably get some different racquets for that. Unfortunately, the net is not the correct width and cannot easily be converted to the correct height for regular tennis. That is, in fact, one of my two disappointments about the set. The poles are the nice coated metal type that shouldn't rust if you keep them from getting too scratched up, and they have easy set up holes for setting the net height, BUT the holes are only at 36" and 61". It would have been easy to add a few more options. The other complaint is that the plastic bases cannot fit in the long carry bag with the poles - the opening is slightly too small. This also seems like it would have been an easy fix. That said, it's still easy to break down and store away, having just a bag for the four poles, a bag for the racquets and balls/birdies, and two handled bases that one can keep full of sand or empty of water with each use (sand is recommended, but concrete mix will work as well) and stack on top of each other. They also have caps for the filling holes. The included racquets are the painted plywood with attached handles type that you might get with a table tennis set, only larger. They're fine, and it doesn't make much sense to include something more expensive, because if you want something more expensive you probably want to pick it out to your specifications. Overall I like it pretty much. It doesn't take much time to set up or take down so that shouldn't stop people from playing if they so desire. It doesn't take much room to store, either, so it won't be a problem to keep in a basement or garage without getting in the way.
